There’s also the addition of social kung-fu with activity streams from sites like Twitter and Facebook. There’s also a big win when it comes to the conversation window: a tabbed interface. Thank you, Live Messenger, for finally catching up to just about every other IM app on the planet in that respect.
I could do without the big, fat ad in the bottom corner, but ads in big-name IM apps have been doing that for quite a while.
I’ll be sticking to Miranda for the little bit of IMing I do, but it looks as though Live Messenger 2010 will be a solid update.
